Uber to Launch Flying Taxis

Flying taxis transit from being science fiction to science fact.

Global giants of urban taxi services, Uber announces the introduction of flying taxis to the world. The company has said it has plans to launch the futuristic service in 3 cities by 2023. Ride-sharing company's vision for the flying taxis will be acquired electrified aircraft that transport commuters between sky-ports, and top of buildings.

According to Uber, the aircraft will initially be flown by commercial pilots at its launch but will eventually become autonomous. The 3 first cities selected for the launch are, Melbourne, Dallas, and Los Angeles. The test flight is slated to begin next year, 2020.
