The maiden edition of the Code Lagos Hackathon competition, organized by the Lagos State Government, had Senior High School, Badagry, South-west Nigeria, come top place to emerge overall winners of the competition.
The competition required participants to develop mobile applications to help enhance the socioeconomic development of Lagos State. Recycling channels by connecting Lagos residents with waste disposal and recycling agents.
The preliminary stage of the competition commenced with 18 schools from the six educational districts of Lagos, after which six schools participated at the finals and Badagry Senior High School clinched the victory.
