18th century English gleaning seen as a legal right for the landless
A campaign group in Britain known as Feedback Global, embarks on a gleaning process across the entire Britain.
The group has seen it's efforts swell, working with four times as many volunteers and harvesting more than a hundred tons of unwanted fruit and vegetables from farms.
Gleaning is not seen as a new venture as the Old Testament of the Bible guides farmers to leave overlooked produce for the poor, strangers and more specifically widows and orphans.
