President Trump accused the outlets of publishing what he described as “fake news”
U.S. President Donald Trump has barred journalists from CNN, MS NOW, formerly MSNBC, and Politico from entering the White House grounds, escalating his ongoing clash with major news organizations.
Trump announced the ban on Friday, accusing the outlets of publishing what he described as “fake news” and saying other media organizations could face similar action.
The decision has since been enforced as reporters from the three outlets had their White House press credentials deactivated or confiscated and were turned away at the entrance.
