President Cyril Ramaphosa has vowed that his government would recover monies stolen through state capture and bring those connected with the corrupt act to book. Ramaphosa disclosed this while addressing the National House of Traditional Leaders in Parliament on Tuesday. He said the state capture inquiry, dug deep revealing a lot of corrupt cases. Our priority must be to uncover all of these networks and expose their activities, bring those responsible to book, recover all stolen funds and take decisive measures to avoid the re-occurrence of such shady acts, President Ramaphosa asserted. The president emphasized the need to strengthen chapter nine institutions in the fight against corruption and ensure checks and balances in a democratic state.
