More than 300 arrested by the Police at the start of two weeks
In the past few weeks, London has been filled with protests from climate activists who are demanding action on climate change. Earlier parts of the week witnessed some activists glue themselves to government buildings while others blocked some major roads and streets in London.
Reacting to their demands and actions, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, asked the activists to abandon their hemp-smelling bivouacs and stop blocking the roads. Mr. Johnson said protesters could learn from former PM Margaret Thatcher, stating that she took the issue of greenhouse gasses seriously long before activists such as Greta Thunberg were born.
Meanwhile the Police has arrested more than 300 protesters. Describing the protesters, Mr. Johnson labeled them as uncooperative crusties.
