If a credible institution for oil studies cannot be cited in Nigeria after 50 years of oil production then something is missing – Ibe Kachukwu
A call has been made to oil companies operating in Nigeria, challenging them to adopt some of the universities in Nigeria as their co-operate social responsibilities in order to help solve in-house challenges faced by the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. This charge came from the honorable Minister of States for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachukwu at a press conference after the closing ceremony of the 2019 edition of Nigeria international petroleum summit which held in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city. Kachukwu emphasized the need for a coalition between the oil companies and Nigerian universities going forward.
