Johnson promises to do more to fight racism and protect black lives.
The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has also joined the rest of the world leaders to condemn the painful death of George Floyd in the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, United States. According to the Prime Minister, though the death of George Floyd happened in a faraway country under a different jurisdiction yet it cannot be ignored as it has triggered emotions in the United Kingdom and all around the world. Mr. Johnson said that he is proud to lead a most ethnic diverse government in the history of the country, explaining that the UK has made huge strides in promoting unity between blacks and colored people in the country citing examples of incidences in years back to validate his claims.
