Opposition Party MDC Blamed for Protests

The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), Zimbabwe’s main opposition party has been blamed for the violent protests which erupted in Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital. The citizens of Zimbabwe are protesting over fuel hikes in the country, the minister of states for National Security said the protests were well orchestrated given the wide spread scenes of looting, burning of tires and barricades across roads in the capital city. The protests has taken to its maximum as it has affected both the communication system in the city, this confirmed by citizens who stated that Authorities have shut down the internet and Social Media within the country which has made it difficult for people to speak with one another.
