Free Speech Under Attack: Pastor Chris Calls on the Church to Speak Up

“It’s not a law against hate speech, it’s a law against speech they hate” — Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Day 2 of Your Loveworld Special Season 12, Phase 4 with Pastor Chris, which took the global airwaves on Thursday, September 10, 2026, continued with prayer, worship, meditation and a time with the Word. The global three-day live telecast climaxes today, Friday, September 11.

Pastor Chris continued his message on the growing wave of anti-hate-speech legislation around the world, warning that such laws could be used to restrict the Church’s freedom to preach the Gospel. He challenged believers not to be intimidated or remain silent, declaring, “It’s not a law against hate speech, it’s a law against speech they hate.”

Pastor Chris urged the global Church to remain vigilant and prayerful, emphasizing that the developments are part of a wider agenda that seeks to hinder the preaching of the Gospel. He reminded believers that the Church has a responsibility to stand for truth and liberty, while trusting in God’s timing.

The session concluded with prayers against laws being crafted against free speech and the preaching of the Gospel.
