NVIDIA and South Korea’s SK hynix, have announced a multi-year technology partnership to co-develop next-generation memory, for the rapidly expanding global AI infrastructure market. The collaboration will align SK hynix’s advanced memory roadmap with NVIDIA’s upcoming AI platforms, including Vera Rubin Supercomputers, AI PCs and robotics systems.
The companies will also use NVIDIA’s AI software and simulation technologies to accelerate semi-conductor design and manufacturing, including efforts to develop digital twins of SK hynix’s factories.
The partnership is designed to help keep advanced-memory supplies aligned with the enormous and growing demand from AI data centres and next-generation computing.
