"Ramaphosa says addressing Land issue will restore people's dignity"
President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, was the main speaker at the annual Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture, recently held at the Artscape Theatre, Cape town, South Africa.
In his lecture, President Ramaphosa, emphasized that there are millions of South African's still living in poverty as they are excluded from the economy. According to the President, addressing the land issue will change the direction of the tide and restore people's dignity.
The annual Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture, has previously hosted the late former U.N secretary General; Kofi Anan, former public protector; Thuli Madonsela as well as Pakistani human right activist; Hina Jilani.
